Mondelez Global received notification from a supplier, Associated Milk Producers, Inc. ( AMPI ), of a voluntary recall of Whey Powder Sweet Type as a precautionary measure due to the potential presence of Salmonella. The recalled whey powder is used as an ingredient in various Mondelez Global human food products.
Distribution Pattern
The impacted products were shipped to Consignees in the U.S., including Puerto Rico & the U.S. Virgin Islands. They were also shipped to consignees in Anguilla, Antigua/Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Curacao, Guatemala, Jamaica, Panama, Philippines, St. Eustatius, St. Vincent, Suriname and Trinidad.
