Product: Dot Compliance eQMS, also called the Dot Compliance Suite. Packages: QMS Xpress (the flagship, out-of-the-box solution in 2023) and Dot Compliance Xpand (additional processes). The help center lists manuals for Xpress (4.0 through 5.3) and a "DCS Package." The AI layer is Dottie, now sold as agentic personas. Electronic Batch Management is a module, not a separate MES. Vendor: Dot Compliance. Entities on the sub-processor page: Dot Compliance Ltd. (Israel), Dot Compliance Inc. (United States and Canada), Dot Compliance UK Limited (United Kingdom and Europe). 2022 and 2023 press releases are datelined Phoenix, Arizona, and name Doron Sitbon as founder and CEO. Category: Life-sciences eQMS: document control, training, deviations, CAPA, complaints, change control, audits, suppliers, and related quality workflows. Not an ERP, LIMS, or MES. Verification date: 2026-10-02. Scope: Public web sources only.
1. Overview
Dot Compliance is a venture-funded, Salesforce-native eQMS for pharma, biotech, and medical-device companies, sold as a pre-built, pre-validated system with an AI layer called Dottie. Its named customers include a 63-person U.S. pharma manufacturer, a biotech moving from clinical to commercial quality, an Australian testing lab, and a Danish hospital pharmacy that bought it through a public framework (Dot Compliance home).
The system runs as cloud SaaS on Salesforce, and Dot Compliance says no separate Salesforce license is needed. Pricing is quote-only; Dot Compliance publishes no list price. The home page lists document management, change management, quality events, audits, training, CAPA, complaints, risk, supplier quality, equipment, and electronic batch management. Dot Compliance runs a pharma page and a device page.
Dot Compliance says the subscription includes a validation package, e-signature controls aimed at 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11, and an AI assistant with personas, boundaries, and a pause for human approval.
What it is not:
- Not an MES. "Electronic Batch Management" and the help-center title "Batch Management & Release 4.0" are quality-record functions. Dot Compliance describes no shop-floor equipment control, line recipe execution, or ISA-95 Level 3 MES. (Home; help center.)
- Not a LIMS or an ERP.
- Not Salesforce itself. It runs on the Salesforce platform, and the customer buys no separate Salesforce license (Salesforce page).
- Not a U.S. Department of Transportation compliance firm. USAspending also lists unrelated "DOT COMPLIANCE" and "DOT COMPLIANCE SERVICES, LLC" entities.
- Not an FDA-cleared device. An openFDA search on 2 Oct 2026 found no 510(k), PMA, device recall, or registration listing naming "dot compliance."

3. Pharma and biotech relevance
- 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11. Dot Compliance says the eQMS has controls "that support compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11": multi-factor authentication, signature meaning, and a time-stamped audit trail. The 2022 and 2023 press call the solutions "fully compliant." No FDA or EMA certificate names the product. (Salesforce FAQ.)
- Standards on the eQMS page. Quality and security: ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, GAMP 5, ISO/IEC 27017. Devices: 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971. Pharma and biotech: 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, "cGMP, cGDP, GCP." The page gives no certificate numbers. (eQMS page.) The 2022 and 2023 releases print ISO "14791"; the current page says ISO 14971.
- CMP Pharma and Satsuma (vendor case pages). CMP Pharma (U.S. semisolid and liquid products, 63 employees) rolled out in three phases, from document control and training through deviations, CAPA, complaints, change control, suppliers, and audits. Satsuma Pharmaceuticals moved from clinical to commercial quality on the vendor-qualification module and document control without customizing the product. (CMP; Satsuma.)
- Danish hospital pharmacy. The Hospital Pharmacy of Region North Denmark, through AMGROS I/S, awarded a GxP cloud eQMS framework (documents, training, deviations, CAPA, change, complaints) to Dot Compliance UK Limited in 2025 (TED 814489-2025, section 7). No go-live report is published.
- Chemika (customer-written). The Australian chemical testing lab chose Dot Compliance in 2022 and went live in February 2023 on documents and training, with 650 documents uploaded by the vendor. CAPA, change control, and investigations were still in progress at the January 2024 update. The TGA, APVMA, and FDA FEI numbers on that page are Chemika's own licenses. (Chemika.)
Dot Compliance says "more than 500 customers" (about page) and "hundreds of life sciences organizations rely on Dottie" (eQMS page), with no counting method.
4. Capabilities
| Capability | Status | Detail | Source |

- Mobile. A "Salesforce for Mobile – User Quick Guide" exists.
- Versions. Release notes run from Xpress 4.4/4.5 through "Dot Compliance Version 5.3.2 Release Notes," plus DCS Package notes in 5.1 and 5.2. Contents are behind the customer login.
Dot Compliance publishes no Salesforce edition, tenant-isolation detail beyond region choice, backup RPO/RTO, security white paper, or uptime figure. ISO 27001 and 27017 appear on the standards list without certificates.
6. Integrations
| Interface | Detail | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Salesforce platform | Records sit in a Salesforce org in a customer-chosen region. | No published REST API. |
| Salesforce license | FAQ: "you don't need a separate Salesforce license. Everything you need is included." | Does not say which Salesforce clouds are included. |
| AI processors | OpenAI, Google Cloud, and Microsoft process Dottie queries. AWS hosts the Dottie microservice. | Internal processors, not customer integrations. |
| SCORM | Rustici, for training content. | No other LMS partner named. |
| "EMDR FDA GATEWAY" | Genari AI Inc. is "Optional for EMDR FDA GATEWAY." | Undefined on the page. |
| Existing systems | Salesforce page: the platform "enables seamless integration with your existing data sources." Satsuma: integrated with existing systems "without any compatibility issues," systems not named. | No named ERP, LIMS, or MES connector. |
| Office editing | Microsoft 365 is a sub-processor for document editing. | Quality records do not live in SharePoint. |
Dot Compliance publishes no API specification and names no SAP, Oracle, or LIMS connector.
7. Pricing and commercial model
Pricing is quote-only; Dot Compliance publishes no list price. The home, eQMS, pharma, Salesforce, services, and about pages state no license, user, or module amount. The services page lists EMEA, U.S., and UK phone numbers. Satsuma mentions a free trial of modules. The Salesforce FAQ says the validation package is "part of their subscription."
Funding to date: $23 million in July 2022 ($33 million total) and $17.5 million in April 2024 ($50 million total).
Danish framework award: TED 814489-2025. Official language Danish. OJ S 237/2025, published 09/12/2025, dispatched 08/12/2025. Buyer: AMGROS I/S (DK14479880), for the Hospital Pharmacy of Region North Denmark. Title "Quality Management System": documents, training, deviations, CAPA, change, and complaints as a GxP cloud SaaS eQMS. Negotiated procedure. CPV 72000000. 48 months. Framework agreement, partly without and partly with reopening.

|---|---|
| Estimated value (procedure and lot) | 4 800 000,00 |
| Maximum and approximate value of the framework agreements | 4 800 000,00 |
| Maximum and re-estimated value on the result lot | 4 800 000,00 |
| Lowest admissible tender | 2 142 286,00 |

Winner: Dot Compliance UK Limited, size medium, registration number printed as 446402605, London, EC4M 7AU. Tender identifier 21258-2025. Winner chosen 09/05/2025. Contract concluded 02/09/2025. No subcontracting. Five electronic tenders. Award weights: price 20, solution quality 50, implementation plan 10, vendor service 20. The notice does not state the winning price; DKK 4.8 million is the framework estimate and ceiling. BidsFactory repeats DKK 4,800,000. BidSonar's £4,800,000 is a currency error.
A USAspending search on 2 Oct 2026, covering awards from 1 Oct 2007, found no U.S. federal contract, IDV, or grant naming Dot Compliance Inc., Dot Compliance Ltd., or Dot Compliance UK Limited. UK Contracts Finder showed no notice naming the company that day.
8. Implementation and validation support
- Services page: professional services from "project inception through deployment," customer success, and technical support, with phone lines for Israel (+972), the U.S. (+1), and the UK (+44). No implementation timeline or GAMP 5 deliverable list. (Services.)
- The validation package is in the subscription. Its contents (IQ, OQ, trace matrix) are not published.
- Chemika (customer-written): selected 2022, started early 2023, live on documents and training in February 2023. The document relationship matrix was the heavy part. CAPA and change control were still in progress a year later. Chemika's QA team did the work with Dot Compliance and added no headcount.
- CMP (vendor case page): three phases; project managers and training methods changed mid-project, then CMP ran its own training. Satsuma (vendor case page): setup-to-launch matched its timeline, with weekly calls during a trial. Neither gives a week count.

10. Competitive and third-party context
Dot Compliance cites no Gartner, Forrester, or other analyst placement.
Dot Compliance claims two firsts: "the first company to introduce generative AI to the quality and compliance space in this way" (2023 press) and "the industry's pioneering AI-first quality platform" (AI page).
11. Changes, renames, and research status
- 2015: company founded.
- 2022-07-20: $23 million Series B. Press describes a Salesforce QMS with "more than 200,000" users and no Dottie.
- 2023-01: the Surmasis case study uses the name "Dot Compliance Xpress."
- 2023-04-04: launch of a ChatGPT-based AI eQMS. QMS Xpress is the flagship, Xpand the add-on processes. User count: "tens of thousands," which conflicts with 2022.
- 2023-12-13 / 2024-01-24: Chemika go-live note.
- 2024-04-16: $17.5 million Series B extension. Quality Digest ran it on 2024-04-29 and quotes Sitbon on becoming "a data company."
- 2024-10 and 2024-11: CMP and Satsuma case studies.
- 2025-09-02: AMGROS framework contract concluded.
- 2026-04-21: "Dot Compliance Launches Dottie AI 5.0, Introduces Agentic AI Personas to Power the Future of Hybrid Workforces." The original PharmiWeb release is offline; a Worldnews reprint survives in truncated form. It announces general availability of Dottie AI 5.0 and "Dottie Personas, a new class of agentic AI specialists designed to operate as trusted members of hybrid workforces," "built specifically for highly regulated" industries, under the deck "Responsible, auditable AI agents redefine quality and compliance operations with human oversight, full transparency and enterprise-grade control." Quote: "Dottie Personas represent a fundamental shift in how organizations approach quality and compliance." A Vertex Holdings LinkedIn post describes personas trained on the customer's SOPs, with human supervisors and documented actions, that review documents, generate training, find gaps, and analyse data.
- Current help center: Xpress and DCS Package titles through 5.3.2.
The company has not been renamed. Package names (Suite, Xpress, Xpand, DCS, Dottie) coexist, and current marketing uses "Dot Compliance eQMS" and "Dottie."
An EMA search on 2 Oct 2026 found no inspection record or EPAR naming Dot Compliance.
