Product: Ennov QMS, the quality-process product on Ennov's QMS page. The Ennov Quality Suite page also names Ennov Doc (documents), Ennov Process (operations), and Ennov Training as one quality family. This profile covers Ennov QMS / Ennov Process and treats the rest of the suite as separate products. Vendor: Ennov SAS, siège 149 Avenue de France, 75013 Paris, France. French register: raison sociale ENNOV, SIREN 428 692 701, SIRET 428 692 701 00041, NAF 58.29C, active. Ennov says it was founded in 1999 and has offices in the US, UK, Europe, and Asia. ENNOV CLINICAL, ENNOV FINANCES, ENNOV-SOLUTIONS, and ENNOV IT SERVICES are different SIRENs. Category: Life-sciences electronic quality management software for quality processes (deviation, CAPA, change control, complaints, audits, and related workflows). Not a regulatory information management system, MES, EDC, or pharmacovigilance system. Verification date: 2026-10-02. Scope: Public web sources only.
1. Overview
Ennov QMS is the quality-process module (deviation, CAPA, change control, complaints, audits) of the quality suite sold by Ennov, a Paris vendor whose wider portfolio covers RIM, clinical, and pharmacovigilance software. Its published buyers are multi-site life-sciences manufacturers: a CDMO (Delpharm, 16 sites), a biotech (HTL Biotechnology), and an unnamed radiopharmaceutical maker (Ennov QMS).
Ennov QMS is 100% web-based and runs in the cloud or on-premises (vendor page). Pricing is quote-only; Ennov publishes no list price.
Ennov targets quality, regulatory, and operations users in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal health, medical device, and similar settings. Out-of-the-box workflows: deviation, change control, complaint, CAPA, impact assessment, audit finding, audit program, product recall, and operational task. The product adds a preconfigured "core model," forms, dashboards, 21 CFR Part 11 electronic signatures, and links to Ennov's document, training, analytics, and dossier products.
What it is not:
- Not Ennov RIM. RIM is a separate product for product, registration, submission, correspondence, and commitment data, with xEVMPD and IDMP-readiness. Ennov says a shared data model lets regulatory teams see a quality change control (Ennov RIM). The RIM page does not say QMS and RIM share a license.
- Not Samarind RMS, Liquent InSight, IMPACT, or DataLabs. Ennov acquired these as regulatory or clinical products (section 2).
- Not Ennov Doc or Ennov Training. These are sibling modules that QMS integrates with. At Delpharm, quality process management was live while document control and training were under evaluation.
- Not an MES, LIMS, ERP, or equipment-control system.
- Not Aesculap ENNOVATE. FDA device records for the ENNOVATE spinal system belong to Aesculap Implant Systems (FDA 510(k) K180433).

March 2026 product brief
The Ennov QMS product brief (https://en.ennov.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Ennov-Product-Brief-Ennov-QMS-3.25.26.pdf) is titled "Ennov Quality Suite" and names the product "Ennov QMS." It never says Ennov Process.
- A diagram shows three Quality boxes: Quality Documents, QMS, and Training. QMS is standardized quality process management (deviations, CAPAs, change control, complaints, audit findings, product recalls).
- It says "21 CFR Part 11 compliant" and shows a "9001 and 27001 Certified" badge. It names no GAMP 5 category, IQ/OQ/PQ, EU Annex 11, or validation deliverable.
- It omits impact assessment, audit program, operational task, out-of-specification, and supplier/SCAR.
- It says QMS is "natively connected to other Ennov solutions" in a harmonized data model with documents, data, training, and reporting.
- Customer line: "450+ Life Science customers." No price and no AI claim.
3. Pharma and biotech relevance
- 21 CFR Part 11. Ennov says Ennov QMS "fully complies" with Part 11 for electronic signature, audit trail, and records management (QMS page). FDA searches on 2 Oct 2026 found no clearance, warning letter, or establishment record naming Ennov QMS.
- EU Annex 11 and ISO. Ennov says the suite supports 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, Annex 11, and ISO (Quality Suite). It cites no notified-body certificate for the software.
- GMP quality events. Deviation, CAPA, change control, complaint, audit, impact assessment, and product recall on the QMS page. Out-of-specification and supplier qualification / SCARs appear on the suite page under Ennov Process.
- CDMO. Delpharm runs deviations, CAPAs, change control, complaints, and OOS investigations on Ennov across 16 sites (Ennov case study).
- Radiopharmaceuticals. An unnamed manufacturer with more than 15 sites in five countries works under nuclear-safety and pharmaceutical GxP rules (Ennov case page).
4. Capabilities
Ennov describes these on its QMS and Quality Suite pages.
| Capability | Fact | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Deviation, CAPA, change control, complaint | Out-of-the-box workflows, plus impact assessment, audit finding, audit program, product recall, and operational task. | QMS page |
| Preconfigured core model | Ready-to-use workflows, configurable for fields, roles, and approval paths. The suite page calls it the Ennov Quality Core Model and calls it AI-powered; the QMS page does not mention AI. | QMS page; Quality Suite page |
| Workflow design | Graphical workflow designer, sub-processes, visual forms editor, forms that adapt to step and participant, manual or automated tasks, full-text and metadata search. | QMS page |
| Review and approval | Automated assignments, approvals, reminders, alerts, and escalations. Part 11 e-signature. | QMS page |
| Dashboards | Pre-configured views, reports, and dashboards with real-time monitoring. The suite page adds an "AI-powered dashboard" without describing the model. | QMS page; Quality Suite page |
| OOS and supplier / SCAR | Listed under Ennov Process on the suite page. Delpharm runs OOS in "Quality Process Management" and lists supplier management (EDO) as a next module. | Quality Suite; Delpharm PDF |
| Document control (Ennov Doc) | Separate module. DIA reference-model inventory, Office Online authoring, change request, periodic review, controlled copy. | Quality Suite |
| Training (Ennov Training) | Separate module. Classroom, on-the-job, MCQ, read-and-understood, "AI-enabled generation of MCQs," role-based curricula. | Quality Suite |
| Analytics (Ennov Analytics) | Companion reporting tool. Under evaluation at Delpharm. | QMS page; Delpharm PDF |
| Product recall | A named workflow. Ennov does not describe distribution or regulatory-notification steps. | QMS page |
| AI | The suite headline says "AI-powered." The QMS bullets name no model, validation method, or Part 11 boundary for AI. | Quality Suite page |
| Validation package | HTL says validation moved into the digital environment. Ennov publishes no IQ/OQ/PQ package or GAMP 5 category. | HTL case study |
5. Architecture and deployment
- 100% web-based.
- Cloud or on-premises. Ennov says "you can switch between deployment options at any time," with no fee, timeline, or migration method stated.
- "Data can be hosted locally for total flexibility. Single-tenancy minimizes business interruptions." Ennov does not name the host or regions.
- "Multi-platform" badge. No browser or client list.
- Ennov says configuration "requires no IT skills."
The French privacy policy says customer data sit in third-party data centers chosen by Ennov and accepted in the customer contract, in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the United States. It references internal documents: information-security policy INF.DR.292, business continuity QUA.DR.0547, disaster recovery ORG.DR.309.
Ennov publishes no database product, security white paper, RPO/RTO, or SSO protocol list. The June 2024 Calyx release calls Ennov's mission a "cloud-based compliance platform"; the QMS page still offers on-premises.
6. Integrations
| Kind | Fact |
|---|---|
| REST API | "REST API for advanced integration" (QMS page). Ennov publishes no API catalog. |
| Ennov Doc | Integrated document product. Office Online editing belongs to Ennov Doc. |
| Ennov Training | Integrated learning management. |
| Ennov Analytics | Integrated visualization and reporting tool. |
| Ennov Dossier | "Intrinsically connected to Ennov Doc and Ennov Dossier" (QMS page). |
| Shared data model with RIM, clinical, PV | A quality change control and a regulatory variation can reference the same product, for example a manufacturing change started in Quality (RIM page). |
| Future RIM link | The radiopharmaceutical customer's platform is "capable of" future RIM integration. |
| ERP, LIMS, MES, SSO | No Ennov page names these connections. |
7. Pricing and commercial model
Pricing is quote-only; Ennov publishes no list price. The QMS page ends in a contact form. The about page says "cost-effective" and "unmatched price-performance ratio" without a figure.
- Modular. Documents, process, and training are sold separately. At Delpharm, process management was live while document control, training, supplier management, and analytics were not all live.
- Cloud and on-premises, with a right to switch. Ennov does not say whether this means subscription or license.
- Services: a Chief Service Delivery Officer runs project management, support, and training; a Vice President of Professional Services covers North and Latin America. No rates.
Public money that is not a list price
A USAspending search on 2 Oct 2026 found no federal award naming Ennov QMS. The Delpharm, HTL, and radiopharmaceutical case studies state no price.
Questions a buyer should ask
- Which SKU is quoted (Ennov QMS, Ennov Process, Ennov Doc, Ennov Training, or the Quality Suite), and which do the in-scope workflows need?
- What do "single-tenancy" and "switch between cloud and on-premises" mean in the contract? Who holds the data, and what does a switch cost?
- Is the REST API a supported interface or a project deliverable? Are ERP, LIMS, or MES connections in scope?
- What CSV/CSA validation package is included, and what does "100% success rate in customer audits" count?
- Are RIM, IDMP, InSight, or PV separate contracts? Confirm the shared data model against the quote.
- Do the 650+ companies and 500,000 users include RIM and clinical customers?
8. Implementation and validation support
Ennov says the core model means teams do not start from a blank slate, configuration needs no IT skills, and customers get into production quickly. Ennov publishes no typical timeline, validation protocol list, or rate card.
Services leaders (about page): Franck Lehmann, Chief Service Delivery Officer (project management, support, training); Thierry Felix, Vice President, Professional Services, North and Latin America.
Customer effort figures from Ennov case studies:
- Delpharm: new-site onboarding "reduced from 12 months to 4 months" (3x faster); global admins trained to run deployments.
- HTL Biotechnology: audit preparation "from several days to immediate access"; "more than 3,500 hours" saved a year.
A footer on Ennov's 2020 Gartner press page says Ennov QMS manages processes "in a validated environment." Neither the website nor the March 2026 brief lists a validation package.
9. Customer evidence
| Account | Fact | Source type |
|---|---|---|
| Delpharm | "From Fragmented to Unified" (2025). Quality process management for deviations, CAPAs, change control, complaints, and OOS across 16 sites; onboarding from 12 months to 4 months; 2,100+ users. Document control and training under evaluation. Delpharm: CDMO, 6,500+ employees, 18 manufacturing facilities, 5 countries. | Ennov case study PDF |
| HTL Biotechnology | Ennov QMS plus document management. 3,500+ hours saved a year; audit prep from days to immediate access; 370 users. Processes: document control, change control, validation, SOP management. | Ennov case page |
| Unnamed radiopharmaceutical company | More than 15 manufacturing sites in five countries. Deviations, CAPAs, complaints, audits, change controls, document control, Part 11, future RIM integration. | Ennov case page |
| Pharmacosmos | Ennov quotes Flemming Simonsen, Director, GxP System Compliance, on faster document signing and less paper. | QMS page (vendor) |
| Other names on Ennov quality pages | IUCT Oncopole (600+ healthcare professionals), an unnamed pre-commercial biotech, an academic research group, and a "foundation for commercial growth" story mixing quality, regulatory, and TMF. | Ennov teasers |
No named deployment is confirmed outside Ennov's own channels. HTL's own quality page describes GMP and ISO 13485 and does not name Ennov (HTL quality page). Delpharm's February 2025 quality policy does not mention Ennov (Delpharm quality policy). LinkedIn posts repeating the Delpharm story come from Ennov and from Dan Webb, Senior Director, Client Services at Ennov.
10. Competitive and third-party context
Gartner. On 10 November 2020 Ennov announced its inclusion in Gartner's "Market Guide for Quality Management System Software" (analyst Sam New, published 9 November 2020). The press page quotes two sentences it attributes to Gartner about quality organizations during COVID-19, and Olivier Pâris welcoming the recognition (2020 press). The Market Guide is paywalled.
No current analyst report or independent technical evaluation of Ennov QMS is public.
11. Changes, renames, and research status
